Business Assistance for Rebuilding and Cleaning

Per the office of Mayor Garcetti:

If your business has been impacted by vandalism or looting during recent public demonstrations, and are seeking approvals for rebuilding, requests can be submitted via the LADBS online plan check, or you can submit hard copies at one of the drop-boxes located at the City’s Development Services Centers in Downtown, Van Nuys, or West L.A.

Additionally, the City of L.A. will be waiving the certified Construction & Demolition hauler requirement. The City’s Sanitation department will be providing roll-off and dumpster services to help clear out debris quickly, providing a seamless and no-cost demolition process so small businesses can rebuild faster.

Please visit buildla.lacity.org for more information.

The City’s Office of Community Beautification is assisting businesses with cleanup efforts.

You can visit the OCB website to make requests for tools and equipment to aid your cleanup or call directly at 213-978-0228.

Requests for graffiti abatement can be submitted online, or by calling 3-1-1.

If you need a hand with cleanup efforts, reach out to L.A. Works, an organization that mobilizes volunteers to address pressing issues in Los Angeles. L.A. Works can help recruit and manage volunteer cleanup efforts at your location. To make a request, email [email protected].
